Process Paper
I had just found out what the NHD theme was that day walking home from school. Leadership and Legacies. My mind was stuck, I just couldn't think of someone great enough to do a half-year project on. That's when I got a text message from my friend. The message itself was irrelevant, but thanks to him, I knew who I was gonna do my NHD project on: The creator of this phone, also known as Steve Jobs.
First step I did was scrounge around the house trying to find any articles, books, magazines, newspaper, etc. that had the word Steve Jobs in it. Turns out, my mom has a biography about him, called "Steve Jobs" by Walter Isaacson. I also found a Time magazine with his face on the cover. It read, "Steve Jobs, Who He Really Is." I didn't find any newspaper articles on him, but that was okay since I have at least 3 sources: A book, a magazine, and the (hopefully trusted) internet.
Next step was to organize all the information I already know about Steve Jobs aside from the information I learned through research. Once I gathered all that, I created my website. I set up the tabs, labeled in order: Home, Young Steve, College and Early Career, Apple Timeline, and Death of a Hero. I would categorize where each fact should go, then put them in there. I got on the internet, and found some images of him and his work and put that there too. We're almost done.
Finally, I make my bibliography. I get all the sources I found about Steve Jobs, jot down their title or URL, then inserted them into Easybib.com, a great MLA format bibliography creator.
